Overview
The 1MProperty Affiliate Program lets you earn recurring commissions by referring two types of customers to our platform: landlords (who pay to list their rental or sale properties) and real estate agents (who pay a monthly subscription to access premium tools).
You earn a percentage of every payment they make — including recurring monthly commissions for as long as a referred agent stays subscribed. There's no cap on how much you can earn, and payouts are sent directly to your bank account via Stripe.

Getting Started in 3 Steps
Create your affiliate account
Sign in to 1MProperty and visit the Affiliate Dashboard. If you don't already have an affiliate profile, you'll be prompted to create one. You'll receive a unique affiliate code (e.g. AFF-A4X9K2).
Connect Stripe for payouts
On your dashboard, click "Connect Stripe" and complete the Stripe Express onboarding. This is how your commissions reach your bank account. You only do this once.
Share your referral link
Copy your unique referral link and start sharing it with landlords and agents. Anyone who clicks your link and signs up is permanently attributed to you.
Your Referral Link
Your referral link is the single most important tool you have. It looks like this:
- The ?ref= parameter is what attributes a signup to you — never share the site URL without it.
- The link works on any page — you can send users straight to pricing, listings, or the list-property page by appending the path.
- Attribution is permanent: once someone signs up via your link, every future payment they make earns you a commission.

Landlords pay to list properties for 3-month periods. You earn 10% each time they activate or renew a listing.
20%
of every subscription payment — recurring monthly
Agents pay a monthly or annual subscription. You earn 20% on every invoice, for as long as they remain subscribed.
Example: Refer 10 agents on the Pro plan (₦15,000/mo). You earn 20% × 10 = ₦30,000 every month, recurring. Refer 20 landlords who each renew listings quarterly, and you add steady listing commissions on top.
Commission rates are set per affiliate and may be customized for top performers. Your exact rates are shown on your Affiliate Dashboard.

Proven Strategies
Lead with value, not the pitch
Instead of "sign up through my link," frame it as: "I found a platform where you can list your property for free and reach renters across 8 countries — here's the link." The value comes first; the commission follows naturally.
Target by country
1MProperty operates in Canada, Nigeria, Ghana, South Africa, the UK, the US, Antigua & Barbuda, and Togo. Focus your outreach on communities in these countries where listings and agents are most active.
Build a landlord pipeline
Landlords with multiple properties are gold. One landlord who lists 5 properties and renews quarterly can generate commissions for years. Prioritize owners over single-property renters.
Stack recurring agent commissions
Agent subscriptions pay you monthly. A referred agent on an annual plan pays you once a year; a monthly subscriber pays you every month. Aim for volume — 20 active agents can create a steady passive income stream.
Use the promo period
During promotional periods when listings or subscriptions are free, use "free" as your hook to sign up referrals fast — they'll convert to paid later, and your attribution is locked in permanently.
Follow up, don't spam
One thoughtful follow-up after a few days is fine. Repeated copy-paste messages get ignored and reported. Quality relationships outperform bulk blasts every time.

Tracking & Payouts
Track in real time
Your Affiliate Dashboard shows total earned, pending payout, total paid, and a full referrals table with status (confirmed, paid, etc.).
Commissions are automatic
When a referred landlord pays for a listing or a referred agent's subscription invoice is paid, your commission is calculated and recorded automatically — no invoicing needed.
Payouts via Stripe
Connect a Stripe Express account on your dashboard. Commissions are transferred to your bank account through Stripe. Make sure your Stripe details are complete to avoid payout delays.
Pause anytime
You can pause or resume your affiliate status from the dashboard without losing your referrals or accumulated earnings.

When do I get paid?
Commissions are recorded automatically when your referrals make payments. Payouts to your bank account are processed via Stripe — timing depends on your Stripe account settings.
Do I earn on renewals?
Yes. For agents, you earn on every monthly or annual subscription invoice. For landlords, you earn each time they activate or renew a listing.
What if my referral signs up later without my link?
Attribution is captured when someone first visits via your link. As long as they clicked your link before creating their account, they're yours — even if they sign up days later.
Is there a minimum payout?
Stripe has a minimum transfer threshold for very small amounts. Commissions accumulate in your account and are paid out once they meet the threshold.
Can I refer other affiliates?
The program rewards you for referring paying landlords and agents. Check with support if you're interested in a multi-tier arrangement.
